At Wyndhams in Poundbury you will find the best foods from local producers alongside an abundance of delicious produce from around the world. The delicatessen caters for every occasion from everyday provisions to fantastic mail order gift hampers.

Locally produced fine food
Dorset and the West Country are rich in high quality producers, from creative farmers growing excellent produce to artisan cheese makers old and new. Many of these are normally only found at farmers markets and shows around the region. Our aim is to make these foods available all the time.

Foods from around the world
In addition our shop is crammed full with delicious foods from the continent and further afield. We have sourced a wide range of regional specialities from small producers. On top of that we regularly search out new and exciting products from around Europe.

At the delicatessen counter you will find superb cured and smoked meats, many of which we produce ourselves, such as our sumptuous dry cured hams, award winning pastrami and Kassler. There are mouth-watering antipasti delicacies and wonderful handmade fresh pastas from Italy. Elsewhere we have the most fantastic Spanish Chorizo's, organic olive oils, perfect paella rice and hand-picked saffron.

Freshly made every day
We serve fresh coffee, pastries and baguettes with any filling of your choice throughout the day. Our kitchen also produces mouth-watering flans and quiches, cakes and puddings.

Local free range meats
We have an excellent reputation for our meat at Wyndhams. All our meat is sourced locally, direct from the farmers who raise their stock to the highest free range standards. From fantastic matured beef to local rare breed pork. We sell succulent game, when in season, as well as delicious specialities such as quail and guinea fowl. Our butcher can cater for any special cuts or orders you require.

Selected wines
We stock a delicious range of wines from vineyards as near as Sherborne Castle, to as far as South America. We have worked closely with Colin Anderson a master of wine to create a selection of wines based on the merit on the palette as well as being very reasonably priced.

Organic fruit and vegetables
There is no substitute for local in-season organic produce. We deal direct with local growers to select a great range that is free of the sins of intensive fruit and vegetables sold by supermarkets. We complement our organic range with other exciting and exotic fresh produce.

Mail order
We stock all sorts of food which make the ideal gift to send. For Christmas, birthdays, or even for survival necessities. Superb hampers and gift boxes to suit all occasions.

We offer a next day delivery service to anywhere in the country. All our deliveries are carefully packed in temperature controlled packaging to ensure that your gift arrives in perfect condition.
